It’s Bliss for Me…

Yes, I slept in peace

As predicted last night

After a long long time

Without any nightmares

 

When you were holding me close to your heart

I heard your rhythmic heart beat

It was a lullaby to be

A long forgotten one

Sometimes I felt you kiss me

Stroking my head so tender

Night was so serene

Calm and silent

Only the sound of us breathing

 

Morning has arrived

And I still am jubilant

When I woke up

I was holding you to my heart

And you slept like a kid

On my heart

I could not but smile

I’m at peace

What more I want

To see the sight of the one I love so madly

When I woke up

Every day
