The Girl who prayed…

On a day so cold, on a sad and lonesome twilight

I waited till my eyes ache for a star to shine so bright

Wearing blood red I stayed, for myself I prayed but none in sight

I waited, waited hoping everything’ll be alright…

This is beautiful and I’m amazed at what you did with the prompt. It may be short, but it tells a beautiful story. Thanks so much for sharing. Blessings.
