Life goes on day after day,

And I’m missing you so bad

The long to hold, the urge to touch

I feel oh! so very cold

 

But truth is not easy to digest

We are so many miles apart

Patience, I had, but where on earth now

Have I lost all my perfect good sense?

 

Take it slow; take one day at a time

I will see, I will try my best and see

I will try to go slow, so slow I will go
