Your Heartbeat…

I woke up from my sleep without heart burns and sighs,

I Was in a melancholic mood before,

We were worlds apart,

The very thought of You made my eye dim,

With tears I cannot shed,

You are far far away,

Million light years away,

All I have is a memory,

Of today and yesterday

But sleep soothed my soul,

Neutralized my wild fire,

Made me realize that my Love is stronger and deeper,

For me to live another day,

I have become mellow and I feel I can go on till the end of times,

Time and distance immaterial,

Since I feel your heartbeat in mine

I like this poem, but do try not to use the comma too much as it masks the true beauty of the words and makes it fussy. I hope you don’t think I say this to be rude – the words are beautiful. Well done 🙂
